Our Center was also represented at the opening ceremony of the new MCC-Brussels, with Rodrigo Ballester moderating the first panel discussion of the event.
On 15 November 2022, the MCC-Brussels held its opening ceremony at the Atomium. The event gave place to several panel discussions about the latest issues and questions of the European Union. The first panel was entitled "Global disorder: What's at stake for Europe?", where our Center’s leader Rodrigo Ballester, also an expert on the topic, asked questions to the speakers: Thomas Fazi (journalist and writer); Phil Mullan (writer) and Joan Hoey (editor of The Economist Intelligence Unit's Democracy Index). In addition to the Russia-Ukraine conflict, the panel focused on the emergence of a new multipolar world and the role of Europe and the European Union in it.
