The event will focus on the European Union Monitoring Mission in Georgia. The mission has been operating in the country since 2008, aiming to stabilise and build confidence in the breakaway occupied territories on the border of South Ossetia and Abkhazia.
While there has been significant progress in stabilisation recently, the mission still has a lot of work to do in the area of confidence building.
On the event the mission's establishment, objectives and facilities will be discussed with the guest of the program, Dr. Tibor Kozma, Acting Head of Mission.
The event will be moderated by Rodrigo Ballester, Head of the Centre for European Studies.
